Level Up Your Illustration Skills During Inktober 2018
If you are looking to participate in a fun drawing challenge, then Inktober is the thing for you. Created in 2009 by Jake Parker, Inktober encourages you to ink a drawing every day for the month of October. By using the dedicated hashtags #inktober and #inktober2018, you can share your daily designs on social media for others taking the challenge to see.

Since its creation, Inktober has developed into a worldwide event where both expert and novice illustrators participate. If you find that drawing every day is a bit much, the challenge allows you to create a schedule that works for you – just as long as you keep at it. Need a little more info before diving in? Check out the video below:
If you ever find yourself running low on ideas, the event website features a prompt list of words you can design around. We hope that you will take on this challenge since it is a great way to practice drawing and coming up with creative concepts. Happy Inktober and we’ll see you on social media!
