The Old Adage is a Detroit pop group composed of siblings Mimi and Nino Chavez. With their sound the duo encourages listeners to never give up on their dreams. The pair developed a love for music at an early age and credits their mother as the inspiration behind their pursuit of a musical career.

The group officially began publishing music in 2014 and haven’t looked back since. To date, they have released 22 tracks, performed at multiple shows in several states, and interviewed with a number of radio/podcast shows. The siblings note G-Eazy and Selena Gomez as two of their musical influences.
