
Six Family-Friendly Events Where You Can Celebrate Halloween
Halloween is just a few days away and there are plenty of fun activities to participate in around the city. To help get your celebrations underway, we’ve listed six family-friendly activities worth checking out.
Halloween Fun in Beacon Park
This Saturday, enjoy Halloween Family Fun Day in Beacon Park. The event takes place from 1:00pm-5:00pm and admission is free. Activities may include face painting, pumpkin decorating, and more. Sound like a haunting good time? Click here to learn more.

Spooky Free Comic Book Day
Candy isn’t the only treat to enjoy for Halloween. On 10/27 from 10am-10pm, wear your favorite costume and head to your local Vault of Midnight comic shop for Spooky Free Comic Book Day! Tag and Treat Costume Party
Fans of laser tag rejoice! Zap Zone in Farmington Hills is having its first ever Tag and Treat Costume Party on 10/27 from 10am-1pm. This event will feature a kid friendly haunted house, candy stations, and a costume contest for multiple age groups. Head over to Zap Zone’s Facebook page to learn more about the festivities!

Treats in the Streets
Celebrate Halloween while exploring the Detroit Historical Society on 10/28 from 12pm-3pm. Children should come dressed in costume and ready to follow a series of clues that lead them to snacks and activities. The event will also feature balloon twisting and a magic act. Through Halloween day, Red Dunn Kitchen in Detroit will be serving pork and calf brains as specialty items on their menu.
