A look back at The Creative Armory’s Highlights of 2019

by | Jan 7, 2020 | Inspiration

With 2020 comes more opportunities to achieve our wildest dreams. As we enter the new year with fresh ambition, we wanted to look back on a few of the moments that made 2019 a special year for The Creative Armory.

1. MLK Day Illustration

We wanted to do something special to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday last year. Using Procreate, one of our favorite drawing apps, we sketched a portrait of Dr. King to commemorate him and encourage our followers to always pursue their dreams.

2. Inspirational Apparel

To kick off the start of ‘Women’s History Month’ last March we designed an exclusive t-shirt that could be purchased for a limited time. The “Stand In Your Power” tee was created to remind women everywhere to embrace and celebrate their unique strengths.

3. blog freebie

As the Spring season set in, we introduced our first digital freebie. Visitors wanting to freshen up their desktop computers could download a free calendar wallpaper themed around the month of April.

4. Newsletter Subscriptions

In 2019 we were excited to see huge growth to our newsletter list. We effectively ran campaigns that kept our existing audience up to date with the latest news from our team, and we created a landing page where new visitors could subscribe to the blog.

5. Social Media Giveaway

Last but not least, 2019 ended with a bang as we celebrated The Creative Armory’s 2nd anniversary. We teamed up with a few of our favorite local vendors to host a week long giveaway on Instagram. Each day we raffled off a gift set themed after our blog’s categories.

What this all means…

Looking back at your accomplishments will remind you that progress is being made even when you feel like you haven’t budged. It’s ok to measure progress by the huge steps you’ve taken, but keep in mind that completing small actions daily can still help you reach your ultimate goals for 2020.
