Music Choice of the Month 5/20: Madelyn Grant
Few singers possess the range, emotion, and incredible diversity that Detroit native Madelyn Grant showcases every time she steps in front of a microphone. As a featured artist, Madelyn provided the vocals on songs that helped launch the careers of EDM legends like Odesza and FKJ, and toured the across the US with another collaborator, Emancipator.

Madelyn has been singing around the Metro Detroit area for over 6 years now, performing all over the state at various festivals and venues. She has opened for Musiq Soulchild, Zo!, the Suffers, and has performed at Electric Forest, Tipitina’s and many other iconic venues across the US.

Her forthcoming debut solo EP, “Reasons,” radiates with a depth of soul and emotion that’s been missing since the modern production boom escalated, and instead concentrates on feeling, groove, and nostalgia. Madelyn’s soaring melodies and lush vocal harmonies blend impeccably to give listeners a modern touch on old school classic soul, R&B, and neo-soul music.
