Ohly to Headline Upcoming Show at The Loving Touch in Ferndale
Folk-rock band Ohly will take to the stage in its first-ever headliner show at The Loving Touch on October 8th. The concert will start at 7 pm and feature fellow musicians Kimball, The Michigan Ordinary, and Jackamo.
On Friday, September 24th, Ohly celebrated the release of their newest single “Steady”, a track that inspires listeners to uplift friends and family.

“Steady” shares feelings/thoughts going through my head in my early 20’s, and what I imagine other people my age are thinking too,” said singer-songwriter Christian Ohly.
“It’s a weird time cause’ I feel it’s the first chance I’ve had to really make decisions for myself. A chunk of the song came when I was at Toast in Ferndale and a friend asked me and another bud, “do you think we’re making each other better?” So I started thinking about the impact I want to make on the people around me during this time. Prior to that conversation so much of my energy was being poured right back into myself.”
“Steady” was heavily inspired by the bands Pinegrove and The Paper Kites.
